July 2017

My last missive talked of my novel set in Africa being in the throes of its last draft. That was Spring 2014 and the book has only just recently been published kindle version on Amazon Dec 2016 and print version launched in March 2017! That was a long last draft. In fact the narrative changed quite a lot after some super editing from Eve Seymour at The Writers Workshop. I am ever grateful to her for her sound advice. Hunting Ground, a crime drama set in Kenya is now up for grabs! The five star reviews on Amazon have been received with delight. Thank you for your kind words. The book and I also received attention from our local newspaper, the Farnham Herald and, in the July 2017 issue of the Surrey Life Magazine, Hunting Ground has been reviewed by Juliette Foster, television presenter.

Our summer so far this year seems to be coming along nicely although I was away for the heat-wave in the south of the country up in Scotland wearing gilets, jumpers and boots! Now Im home and the temperature is pleasant and the rain welcome for the garden as well as for riding my wonderful horse Dilly. Meanwhile writing and research continues towards my sixth novel.

Im hoping to set up a few book signing events to promote Hunting Ground, around the Farnham/Guildford/Alton area, so do pop in and say hello if you are in the vicinity. Dates will be added to the events page.
Enjoy a wonderful summer and happy holidays
